How long do we try to send SMS to customers when the phone is switched off?
If a phone is switched off or has no coverage, the operator will hold the message in a queue and try to deliver it when the phone becomes available again.
How long the operator tries to deliver the SMS is determined by their validity period (validity period) and is usually around 48-72 hours. The exact time is not controlled by us.
In some cases, the recipient's phone or SMS app may have its own setting for how old messages are accepted, which may prevent older SMS from being delivered. In practice, however, it is the operator's validity period that determines how long the message will be attempted to be delivered.
