Add and remove labels from multiple contacts

Labels exist solely as a property of contacts, which means you cannot rename or edit the label itself. Therefore, you need to create a new label for your contacts and potentially remove the old one if you want to make changes.

Move contacts from one label and create a new one

1. Click on "Manage labels" above the label list.
2. Select the labels you want to manage
3. Click on "Move contacts"
4. Name your new label in the "Label name" field. If you want to create several new ones, separate the label names with a comma (,).
5. If you want to remove the old label from your contacts, check the box for "Remove old labels from contacts."
6. Click on "Move contacs"
